Last week Switchback Mentors and Trainees went down to Devon on the first River Cottage trip of the year.
On Tuesday four Trainees excitedly set out for three days of camping, cooking on the camp fire, working as farm hands and swimming in the ice cold sea (it was Hassan’s first ever dip in the ocean). As usual River Cottage hosted the Switchback team for an amazing afternoon at Park farm. Trainees got to see how the farm and cookery school runs on a daily basis and they all got to taste some of River Cottage’s amazing produce! The sun was shining and a good time was had by all. We can’t wait for the next trip.
