Last month, we invited prison officers from HMP Littlehey to join Trainees for lunch at the Skylight Café. They sat down with five of their former charges, two of whom were on a break from their shifts in the café that day.
This was something that no-one at the table could have imagined in the past and the conversation was buzzing back and forth!
The Trainees were extremely proud to be able to show the officers how far they’ve come. Having seen the tangible changes in the young men they used to supervise, the officers left feeling really excited about their work with Switchback.
