People need support to build stability after prison: Switchback on BBC Radio 4

On Saturday Switchback’s Head of Delivery Monique Williams was invited onto BBC Radio 4’s Money Box show to talk about the new £76 Subsistence Payment for people leaving prison, and the support that people need to make a new start.

The Subsistence Payment, which will replace the £46 discharge grant this summer, is a step in the right direction – but more action is needed. From ensuring access to housing and technology, to meaningful one-to-one support, hear Monique talk about the next steps that are needed to enable people to build stable lives after prison:
